In 2015, MELSA received a $100,000 grant through the State Library Services agency to learn more about how metro residents use computers, employ network technologies, and adapt to changing online access patterns for government services. Most importantly, we asked how public libraries might provide assistance in these endeavors. This program will cover the scope of the project including: - preliminary planning, - selection of a survey firm - development of a survey instrument - collection and analysis of survey data by the National Research Center, Inc., - integration of the survey results in service planning discussions at two MELSA member libraries: Anoka County Library and Scott County Library.
