Divine Secrets of the Library Sisterhood: In-State Sister Libraries and Why They Matter

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Learn how your library can reap benefits, such as staff development, mentoring experiences, and problem-solving skills, from partnering with another in-state, “sister” library. This program is all about libraries helping other libraries. Minnesota librarians, library directors, and state library leadership will now have the chance to help lead the nation with this practical approach to collaboration. Kentucky has successfully piloted this concept for the last six years with the Kentucky Sister Library Project (KSLP). We will look at specific projects you can work on with your “sister.” You will glean valuable do's and don'ts from this session and will leave with concrete ideas and lots of inspiration. See how easy it is to participate!
